Taylor Mohr was adopted at the age of three. While there was no way for her to know it at the time, it was that experience that set her on the road to becoming a Family Law attorney, helping others to navigate a legal system that’s incredibly complex and often overwhelming. Taylor represents clients through divorces, modifications, enforcements, child custody matters, probate and estate planning. She takes the time to truly listen and educate them on the law, and she is a fierce advocate both in settlement and in litigation.
Taylor is one of the 1% of licensed attorneys Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is an active member in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists. She has worked with some of the most prestigious firms in the Austin and DFW areas and has now used that exceptional experience to launch her own firm, focusing on modern, efficient, client-focused representation of the highest quality.
Taylor’s hard work and passion for her clients has brought her accolades from some prominent legal communities and organizations. Thomson Reuters named Taylor to its annual list of Texas Rising Stars in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and D Magazine named her a Top Attorney Under 40 in 2019. The American Institute of Family Law Attorneys has named her a Top 10 Best Female Attorney and the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys has named Taylor as one of its Top 10 Under 40.
Taylor graduated high school at the age of 17 and attended Baylor University after being named a Presidential Scholar. She graduated summa cum laude at the age of 20 with a 4.0 GPA, and she received a full-tuition scholarship to Baylor Law School. While at Baylor Law School, Taylor interned for Judge Walter Smith of the Western District of Texas and for the Office of the General Counsel for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, while also being active in the Student Bar Association.
A foodie and travel lover, Taylor and her husband are currently raising a son, a daughter, and 2 pups in the Frisco area.
Sarah K. Fox has always been passionate about serving those individuals affected by the justice system. Originally from a small town in East Texas, Sarah earned her undergraduate degree from Southwestern University where she double-majored in Philosophy and Political Science. After graduating, Sarah attended Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law on a Presidential Scholarship. While at SMU, Sarah earned Dean’s List honors and competed on the school’s National mock trial teams. Beginning with her first internships in law school, Sarah has devoted her entire legal career to criminal law, serving as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, and earning her Board Certification of Legal Specialization in Criminal Law, an accomplishment held by less than 1 percent of all practicing attorneys in Texas. Throughout her career, Sarah has worked closely with the local family law bar in managing the common cross-over of issues between her client’s criminal cases and their family law or custody cases. Inspired by this experience, in May, 2020, Sarah expanded her legal focus to include family law matters and has been working with the family law clientele of the Mohr Law Group.
